Turbo E36 M3 Road Race Engine Build. Episode 1: Top End Teardown

Mike's motor finally gave up the ghost. This past year Middleton Motorsports has been spending a lot of time at Road America. His motor went lean this April at the Northwoods Shelby Club Event and Cylinder 1 developed a crack. We think it did pretty well for being built back in 2005. That's 16 years of abuse!

After building his s52 as a high horsepower turbo set up that could hit 900whp. He has now decided to lower the displacement by using an m52 block and use a more efficient Precision 6766 turbo. By doing this he will still keep 900+whp, but have a much more reliable bulletproof road race engine.
