VR silicone face covers for the Meta Quest 3 can be found in many corners of online retailers, and in this review, I get face-on with one from APEXINNO.

Specifically made for the Meta Quest 3, this silicone face cover fits the stock facial interface of the headset very well. Its material makes it hygienic when sharing the headset with others, as well as for fitness, as it can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth or anti-bac wipe.

Installation of the silicone cover is super easy and only takes less than a minute to attach around the facial interface foam padding. There are small overlaps on the ends of the cover which makes the cover stay attached to the face pad, whilst the moulding and fit are pretty much on point.

Bundled with the silicone cover comes a clip-on nose flap that helps prevent any light from entering below your nose. This clips into the two holes on either side of the nose portion of the facial interface, a familiar attachment point adopted by a few other silicone cover brands, but these hooks seem to attach a lot better than the other I tried from Esimen. Also, its material feels a little firmer, making it last longer, although there is a little added weight on your nose from the heavier silicone that sits on your nose. It's nothing to put you off though.

In practice the silicone face cover from APEXINNO fits well, I never had it slip off or come loose in any way during my tests. The silicone is cold to the touch initially, and its material makes it easier to keep clean and look after your stock foam pad that sits underneath it from getting sweaty and dirty over time.
