Red Hot Riding Hood is a short animated cartoon directed by Tex Avery and released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on May 8, 1943. In 1994, it was ranked 7th among the 50 Greatest Cartoons of All Time by members of the animation industry. and became the highest MGM cartoon on the list. It is one of Avery's most popular cartoons.
