Amy Jade Winehouse (born September 14, 1983) is an English singer-songwriter who was born September 14, 1983. She is well-known for her powerful deep contralto vocals and a wide range of musical styles. The Amy Winehouse Foundation was set up by Winehouse's family and launched on 14 September 2011 (which would have been Winehouse's 28th birthday). Its aim is to help vulnerable or disadvantaged young people.
