This is video #015 in my Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask playthrough. After returning to dawn of the First Day and returning to Woodfall, Link makes Woodfall Temple emerge from the swamp again. This time, he flies across the gap to the temple and enters.
Woodfall Temple (time index 2:53) is fairly easy, being the first temple in the game. In the entry hall, Stray Fairy #01 is hovering in the middle of the room. Just put on the Great Fairy Mask to draw her to Link. Then, as a Deku, Link will have to fly over to the southeastern platform, where a big treasure chest is sitting. This chest contains Stray Fairy #02.
After collecting her, Link crosses to the north-central platform. On the approach, keep to the middle to avoid the Skulltulas here. If Link falls to the floor, there will be numerous Boes to contend with.
The door to the north takes Link to the dungeon's central room (time index 4:40). Be sure to kill the Deku Babas for a few Deku Sticks. On the western platform at the bottom of the ramp, the Deku Baba is holding on to Stray Fairy #03. Link can leap from lilypad to lilypad as a Deku to reach the platform at the eastern doorway. Then, he can leap to the southeastern platform, where one of the pots contains Stray Fairy #04.
In the room to the east (time index 6:05), there will be four lilypads around a flower in the middle of the water. Link can use the flower to reach the chest in the north of the room, which contains a Small Key. To the west of this platform, Stray Fairy #05 is trapped in a beehive. Then, Link can go back to the flower and fly across to the eastern door.
In the room to the east (time index 7:20), there will be three Snappers. Dive into a flower, and defeat the Snappers by popping out when the Snapper passes overhead. When all three are defeated, a chest containing the Dungeon Map appears.
After returning to the central room (time index 9:35), Link goes across to the west door, which is locked. In the next room, Link has to push the block out of the way and then go around the walkway to the northwest side. A Skulltula holds Stray Fairy #06. Then, Link has to go around the walkway and push the block twice to get it out of the way. Then, he has to go back to the torch and carry it south to light the torch on the southern platform and unlock the door.
In the small room to the south (time index 12:05), there are two Dragonflies to kill. When they are dead, a chest containing the dungeon's Compass appears.
Back in the previous room, Link has to light another Deku Stick and carry it to the torch upstairs on the west side. Then, he can light another Deku Stick and burn the webbing to get through the door to the north. This will allow him to get to the stairs.
Upstairs (time index 14:20), there is a dark room swarming with Black Boes. When they are all defeated, a chest containing Stray Fairy #07 appears. Then, Link has to light a Deku Stick at the torch in the middle of the room and then use it to light three torches around the outside of the room. This unlocks the door to the east.
In the room to the east (time index 16:15), there are platforms high in the middle of the room and a couple of Dragonflies barring the way. Be careful of the holes in the floor, which lead down to the first floor. Things should get easier when the Dragonflies are dead. Then, Link can use the two platforms to get to the northeast platform, which will take him to a stairway leading down.
Link will arrive on the upper walkway in the northeast of the central room (time index 17:55). Directly to the west, Stray Fairy #08 is trapped in a bubble. Near the eastern door, Tatl will alert Link to the shrine below. When Link steps on the switch nearby, some ladders will appear to give Link a shortcut.
Through the door to the east (time index 18:45), Link will arrive on the upper level of the room that had the Small Key and Stray Fairy #05. Around to the south, Link will arrive in a room with a miniboss, the Dinofols. This thing is similar to the Lizalfos and Dinolfos (note the spelling difference) in Ocarina of Time. This time around, though, it is a little tougher, and it breathes flame. Because of this, I would not recommend using Deku Link. Wait for an opening and attack. When the Dinolfos is dead, a treasure chest appears. This contains the dungeon's treasure, the Hero's Bow! This is a useful weapon, as always.
Thanks for watching!
