In Syria, at least 14 Turkish soldiers and a total of 138 militants were killed as clashes between the Turkish-backed Syrian rebels and the Daesh militants have intensified near the Syrian town of al-Bab on Wednesday.
According to the officials, the soldiers were killed in three separate suicide attacks which had been centred on a hospital area.
33 soldiers were also wounded in the fighting and were brought to a local hospital in southeast province of Gaziantep, Turkey for treatment.
The rebels have been besieging the Daesh-controlled town for several weeks as they are battling to clear out the militants from the Syrian border.
