A group of parents is suing the Loudon County School district over alleged racial discrimination and free speech violations. Fox News reports the plaintiffs in the case include a member of Parents Against Critical Race Theory. The suit alleges a 'student position' in the county schools is restricted to non-white individuals, who hold certain views about social justice. Chief Executive Officer of New Journey Political Action Committee, Autry Pruitt, tells us whether critics are right that critical race theory makes sweeping claims about racial groups, thus violating civil rights. He shares how Christians should respond to critical race theory. Pruitt discusses how he sees this playing out and whether lawmakers and parents will be successful in banning critical race theory from schools. On another note, there have been several recent controversies regarding the Black Lives Matter organization, including allegations made by former employees that the BLM local chapters are not receiving much funding from the national organization. Pruitt explains what more is known about this. He also reminds us why the Black Lives Matter organization is problematic for Catholics and Christians.
