Locals staged protest as bulldozers arrived in the Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi on 9 May. The protesters were sitting on the roads to stop the anti-encroachment drive in the area. Congress & AAP leaders also joined the protest. Delhi Police had deployed forces to avoid any untoward incident.
