Here is my hack for homemade almond flour made from blanched almonds. This comes in handy when you ran out of almond flour, or need just a small amount and don't want to buy a whole bag, or if you use lots of almond flour and want to save a bit. This tends to be more cost-efficient.
You'll need
1 cup blanched almonds (whole, sliced, or slivered work here)
Pulse in a food processor. Stop every 10 pulses and scrape down the sides with a spatula to prevent clumping, overheating, and turning it into almond butter accidentally.
Repeat 5-8 times until relatively fine.
OR
Blend in a high speed blender on high for 10 seconds. Stop to scrape sides and repeat (2-3x).
You can also use while almonds with skin on, the results is almond meal which works just as well in most recipes.
