To begin, I opened a subtitle and a video and I want to use MPV video player, instead of direct show.
By default, in older subtitle edit versions, it uses direct show to play video and show subtitles, and the subtitle is not showing on the video, but it showing below the video.
Just go to settings, and in video player section, make sure to use MPV and click on download MPV lib.
And click ok.
Now you have to just restart subtitle edit.
And now the subtitles are showing correctly on video.
