The United States has dropped its restrictions on F-16 Sales to Turkey

As of Dec 7, 2022, in the final version of the National Defense Authorization Law (NDAA), the articles to limit the purchase of F-16s by Turkey were removed.
It has been decided in the House of Representatives, that no new F-16 sales to Turkey and F-16 modernization kits would not be sold subject to two conditions:
the sale in question touches on important national security interests of the United States
these weapons do not repeatedly violate Greek airspace.
Now that the United States has dropped its restrictions, Turkey will be able to acquire 40 F-16 Block 70 fighters and upgrade kits for another 79 aircrafts. The F-16 Block 70/72 Viper is the latest upgrade of the fourth-generation aircraft.
