Today we're going to be doing a Tascam 388 tape bounce process involving an artist we recently worked with called Branland. He's out of New Jersey, and his stuff sounds great! He came to me with a final mix of a song that was recorded digitally and it was a great mix already but they just wanted to do an analog tape bounce in order to add some saturation and warmth to the sound. Recording to tape is fun, and the Tascam 388 is actually a great machine to do a stereo tape bounce to add that golden warmth to your sound!
