A quick and simple interactive self–service solution that allows tourist shoppers to generate their own tax free forms. The payment device recognises shoppers that are tax free eligible when they pay with a foreign card. This is displayed to the sales assistant on the screen and a till receipt, containing a unique barcode, is issued to the shopper. The sales assistant just needs to direct the shopper to the Premier Kiosks. With bespoke colour schemes and a modern but discrete design, Premier Kiosk fits into all store environments. It has proven to be extremely user friendly with International Shoppers. Operated via touch screen, it guides them step by step. The shopper selects their language and scans their passport. The inbuilt scanner collects all personal details from the passport and uses them to populate the form automatically. If they don’t have their passport on them, their details can be entered manually. However, details of registered shoppers can easily be recalled. The shopper scans the receipt barcode and then signs the form using the inbuilt signature pad. This integrated system, automatically recalls the purchase data related to the unique till receipt barcode and calculates the refund amounts. The Tax Free form is then issued from the Kiosk, respecting all local and international regulations. The retailer’s signature is applied to the Tax Free form electronically. Where mandatory, the shopper is instructed to attach the purchase receipt to the tax free form. Premier Kiosk offers many additional functions.
Consolidation is useful for shoppers who have multiple purchase receipts. They scan the barcodes of their receipts and Premier Kiosk produces one tax free form for all. Refund options can be pre-selected. Premier Kiosk can also be integrated with local Customs. For example, in France, the Tax Free forms contain the PABLO barcode. For a fast credit card refund, the shopper can insert their card into the inbuilt reader and details are sent to Premier Tax Free - respecting all PCI security regulations. The shopper can exclude any non exported items from their Tax Free form. They also have the option to enter their email address to receive marketing communications. If they have subscribed to the Premier Tax Free loyalty programme, the shopper can scan their barcode to recall their personal details and automatically populate the Tax Free form. The Tour Guide Management Solution manages commissions, invoicing and accounting streamlining the process.
It also enables affiliated tour guides to take care of the tax free process for their group. For department stores with VIP lounges, Premier Kiosk can be complimented with Premier Mobile. Premier Mobile enables a comfortable and personal tax free experience. All standard steps of the tax free process, plus additional high value services can be managed on the mobile device. The pre-stored data of the VIP shopper is recalled and combined with the current purchase. The tax free form is then printed from a laser printer in the VIP lounge.
