Choosing an electric bike motor size can be difficult. There are many different motor sizes available, 250, 350, 500 and 750 watt motor sizes. Two common sizes are 250 watts and 500 watts but what is the difference between these two size ebikes. Well of course power, but is there a big difference in the performance. Not necessarily, it will really depend on how you are going to use your ebike. Also, many times a smaller motor size is better for certain riders. Overly powerful ebikes can accelerate fast and sometimes through riders off. So choosing an ebike motor size isn't just about choosing the largest ebike motor size you can find.
