▶테크닉
1️⃣인트로와 1절 벌스, 2절 벌스 때 오른발 더블킥 들어가며 + 왼발은 2,4박자에 넣습니다. 상체는 움직이지 않은채로 양발을 번갈아 쓰는게 무게중심 잡기 힘들어서 저는 스네어에 손을 올리고 연주했습니다. 연주하실 때 한손은 스네어, 한손은 플로어탐에 올려놓으셔도 좋습니다!
2️⃣인터루드(간주)를 재밌게 짜봤습니다. 처음 네마디는 오른손 라이드 벨과 플로어탐 번갈아서 쳤고요. 다음 네마디가 좀 어려운데요. 왼손이 하이햇과 플로어탐을 번갈아 연주하다보니 타점이 많이 흔들리실 거예요. 이 네마디 구간은 반드시 외워서 쳐야 좋은 소리를 낼 수 있습니다.
3️⃣2절 후렴(=코러스=싸비)부터 양손 16분음표 하이햇으로 연주했는데요. 이 노래 원곡에 카우벨?잼블럭? 같은 청량한 소리가 엄청 세게 들렸어요. 그래서 하이햇보다 잼블럭(파란색 하이햇에 달린 것)으로 표현하는게 좀 더 어울릴 거 같다고 생각했는데요. 솔직히 이 곡 하나를 위해서 장비를 구입하는 건 조금 ㅎㅎ.. 결국 위치가 같기 때문에 하이햇으로 치셔도 똑같습니다.
4️⃣하이햇으로 치셔도 잼블럭을 놓고 치셔도 우리가 치는 동작은 같지만. 잼블럭이 더 작아서 칠 수 있는 범위가 더 좁습니다. 일반적인 16비트 투핸드였다면 별 4개를 줬을 것 같은데요. 좁은 면적을 치느라 집중력을 더 요하는점 + 마지막 코러스 때 라이드도 섞으면서 16비트를 연주하는게 어렵다고 생각해서 별 4개 반(반올림으로 생각해 별 5로 표기)을 주었습니다.
▶느낀점
아, 처음엔 별 4개 정도 생각했는데 막상 치니까… 저도 어려웠습니다~~
그래도 노래가 너무 유명한 곡이라.. 모르시는 분 없으실 것 같아요. 버전이 다양해서 꼭 제가 친 것 아니더라도 다른 것도 즐기시면 좋겠습니다!
그리고 우리 둘이 노력하면 무엇이든 할 수 있어,라는 가사도 너무 따뜻하네요ㅎㅎ

▶Technique
1) During the intro, 1st verse, and 2nd verse, double kick with the right foot + the left foot on the 2nd and 4th beats. It was difficult to maintain my center of gravity by alternating between my feet while keeping my upper body still, so I played with my hand on the snare. When playing, you can place one hand on the snare and one hand on the floor tom!
2) I had fun making the interlude. For the first four measures, I played the right hand ride bell and floor tom alternately. The next four words are a bit difficult. Since your left hand plays the hi-hat and floor tom alternately, your RBI will fluctuate a lot. These four measures must be memorized and played to produce a good sound.
3) From the second verse refrain (=chorus=sabi), I played with both hands using 16th note hi-hats. Cowbell or jam block in the original version of this song? The same refreshing sound was heard very loudly. So I thought it would be more appropriate to express it with a jam block (the one attached to a blue hi-hat) rather than a hi-hat. Honestly, it's a bit hard to buy equipment just for this one song haha... In the end, since the positions are the same, it's the same even if you hit it with a hi-hat.
4) Whether we play with a hi-hat or with a jam block, our hitting motion is the same, but the jam block is smaller, so the hitting range is narrower. If it were a regular 16-bit two-hander, I think I would have given it 4 stars. I gave it 4 and a half stars (I rounded it to 5 stars) because I thought it required more concentration to play in a small area and that it was difficult to play 16 beats while mixing the ride during the last chorus.
▶What I felt
Ah, I thought about 4 stars, but when I actually gave it a try, it was really difficult for me too~~
Still, the song is so famous... I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know it. There are many different versions, so I hope you can enjoy other versions, even if they aren't mine!
And the lyrics that say, "If we're together, we can do anything," are so heartwarming haha.
Don't stress too much if it doesn't go well. I'll come back next time with a slightly easier song.
