The Timp 5 received several upgrades from the Timp 4, the most noticeable of which is the Vibram Outsole and more responsive cushioning. I never owned any of the previous iterations, so I cannot compare it to the previous models. The other model I owned was the Olympus 5, which lasted only 150km before the outsole started coming off.
