Tillers' interns and staff harvest about 1/2 acre each year with this restored Walter Wood reaper from the 1870s and 1880s. This is a self-raking model. It did not yet tie the bundles. Indeed, it required about 6 people tying bundles to keep up with the reaper. Its raking mechanism is more complex than Tillers' 2012 prototype reaper for Harmee in Ethiopia.
