1. Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic's motorcade drives out of court complex (Milosevic can be seen in back of car)
STORYLINE:
Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic has left the UN war crimes tribunal on Thursday morning after appearing in front of it for the second time since being handed over by the Serbian authorities at the end of June.
The tribunal said it would appoint a lawyer to assist Slobodan Milosevic.
During his court appearance, the former Yugoslav president protested he is monitored so closely in prison that he cannot even speak to his grandson in private.
Milosevic repeated his refusal to recognize the legality of the U-N tribunal and said there was no need to defend himself against an illegal indictment.
He is accused of four counts of war crimes in the alleged suppression of ethnic Albanians in Kosovo in 1999.
