Here's a few ⚡️quick tips✍️ on improving the sound quality of your Boya BY-MM1 cardioid microphone while recording on a Windows 10 laptop. I struggled for quite a while with getting the optimal sound quality for this mic. Fumbled my way around some settings in Windows and realised that some of the built-in settings work against an external mic. In this video, I'll show you the steps on how I improved the sound quality.

This video is shot entirely on my 7 years old Acer Aspire V5 laptop with its 1280p x 720p webcam and the Boya BY-MM1. No post processing on the audio was done. I only increased the video brightness by 15%.
