1.Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen, winner of Miss Universe 1994, is one of the most stylish icons of Bollywood as well as a single mom of 2 adopted girls. In 2000, Sushmita Sen adopted a baby girl named Renee and in 2010 she again adopted a baby girl and named her Alisah. Sushmita Sen had to fight for the custody of her second girl child , Alisah.
2.Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon was just 21 years old when became single mother of 2 girls Pooja and Chhaya, whom she had adopted in 1995. She also has 2 children with her husband Anil Thadani whom she married in 2004.
3.Neelam Kothari
Sameer and Neelam,the handsome couple were keen to have a baby immediately after their marriage in 2011. Eventually, after a short wait, they decided to adopt a baby girl. According to Neelam, both of them always wanted a daughter. The overjoyed parents named the baby girl Ahana. Sameer playfully complains that after the baby’s arrival, he doesn’t exist for his wife anymore.

Nikhil Advani, director of Kal Ho Naa Ho and his wife Suparna to adopt a baby girl named her Keya. It is believed that the director loves his daughter more than his movies.

Choreographer Sandip Sopparkar adopted a baby boy named Arjun much against wife Jesse Randhawa’s wishes who was completely against this adoption.Adoption was no easy task for Sandip, who had to wait for long to get the custody of his son, Arjun. He adopted the child before he even got married.

Mithun Chakraborty had adopted a girl found lying in the garbage bin in Kolkata. He named her Ishani and she has now grown up with his three sons Mimoh, Rimoh and Namashi.

Indian film director, producer and screenwriter Subhash Ghai has not only won award for producing a social problem film ‘Iqbal’ but has also set an example by adopting a girl child Meghna. Meghna Ghai is currently handling her father’s film institute, Whistling Woods.
10.Salim Khan
Arpita Khan was adopted by Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, when she was just 2 years old. She is the youngest and the most pampared of the Khan Siblings. Her wedding in Hyderabad was the most talked wedding of 2014.
