The big southerly that just blasted the south eastern corner of Aussie is now arriving in NZ - and the next day or two will be unsettled with squally showers, gusty winds and much colder air - along with snow on the mountains and ranges.
But a powerful high pressure zone from Australia (which will make most of Australia below normal temperature-wise tonight, including as far north as tropical Darwin!) is also coming to New Zealand, bringing frosts by the end of the week and a sunnier Friday and Saturday to many parts of the country that just had a deluge.
We have your forecast through to Monday across NZ, Australia and the South Pacific.
