Ever wondered how you could take action and decision based learning to the next level, without a huge budget?
This interactive video, which after storyboarding, took about 10 minutes to record at the client’s site. It was simple to edit by splitting the video into individual videos, which were then placed on their own screen.
We created a template with the base layer (video) and a layer (the decisions), which we duplicated for the rest of the scenario. It’s a short one with the learner being able to complete it within 2 minutes (because that’s all it would take in the real world).
The intent: train learners that there are consequences for tasks they undertake so refer to and follow the safety data sheet to do it safely.
Created using:
Storyboard = pen and paper
Actor = team member
User interface (UI) = Illustrator
Images = Shutterstock
Video and sound = Point of view glasses (approx. $250)
Video editing = movie maker (free on older PCs)
Developed = Articulate 360.
