Today, I am going to share a easy SUNOMONO.
Cucumber salad with vinaigrette dressing.
SUNOMONO’s SU means vinegar in Japanese. It’s great for an appetizer and can accompany any main course. Overmore, you can make it in 10 minutes without using fire!

Ingredients (Serve for two)
English or Persian cucumber 1
Wakame seaweed (in the video, I used salted wakame 25g, if you use dried one, add less)
Sesame seed 1 tbs
Salt for rubbing cucumber ½ tbs
(vinaigrette dressing)
Rice vinegar 3 tbs
Sugar 2 tbs
Soy sauce 1 tbs
Instruction
1. Soak wakame seaweed in large amount of cold water for 5min.
2. (For salted wakame,) Rinse in running water and squeeze excess water.
3. Cut wakame in a bite-sized pieces.
4. Slice cucumber, sprinkle salt and let it sit for 5min.
5. Rinse cucumber in running water and squeeze excess moisture.
6. Make vinaigrette dressing, combine all ingredients and dissolve well.
7. Prepare a large bowl and add cucmber, wakame seaweed and sesame seeds.
Pour dressing and toss well.
