The original Garmin Venu was Garmin’s first real attempt to tackle the rise of sporty smartwatches head on. It offered the company’s sports tracking in a more attractive package, with the watch’s AMOLED screen in particular setting apart from the rest of Garmin’s range.

Run Testers Mike and Nick are testing out the Garmin Venu 2 for our full review, but for now here's Nick’s early impressions after his first run with the watch.
