This talk was presented during the Arthur M. Sackler colloquium In the Light of Evolution X: Comparative Phylogeography in Irvine, CA on January 8-9, 2016 organized by John Avise, Brian Bowen and Francisco Ayala.
The colloquium sought to survey the current state of phylogeographic thinking in the ecological and evolutionary sciences and bring together leading scientists representing the best of what phylogeography can offer biology writ large. This Colloquium was the tenth and final installment in what has been a series of annual colloquia under the umbrella title “In the Light of Evolution” (ILE).
