Matsuya Foods Co. (株式会社松屋フーズ) ( TYO: 9887) is a Japanese major restaurant chain serving gyūdon (or gyūmeshi ), other donburi, and curry. Matsuya was established in Japan in 1966, founded by Toshio Kawarabuki. As of 2018 , Matsuya has 1,080 restaurants throughout 33 Japanese prefectures.
