"Replacing the Past: Sacramento's Redevelopment History" debuts Wednesday April 20th at 7pm on KVIE Public Television. The 30-min. documentary examines the controversial remaking of downtown Sacramento during the 1950s and 60s. Thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Center for Sacramento History, KVIE Public Television, Steve Davis Productions, film technician Mahlon Picht and the historians who provide context and perspective during the program- Steven Avella, William Burg, Clarence Caesar, Marcia Eymann and Thomas Joo.
