This video is proof anybody can solo flawless Pit of Heresy with the current Arc 3.0 Hunter (it's also a very fun experience!). This run is the result of an afternoon of practice dying to fall damage, stage hazards and unlucky ogre rotations, which you can also see here. It is by far the most scuffed run I got in this session, but hey, can't argue results. The death at the very end scared the crap out of me, but I believe it still counts, right?
The build is something very simple. I quickly put together some mods to match my loadout and it worked just fine:
- Helmet: Sword Ammo Finder for the final encounter (also had Elemental Armaments here, but I just wanted to use the 2 spare energy)
- Gauntlets: Grenade Launcher Loader for that Forbearance reload speed.
- Chest: Themorshock Plating, taking advantage of the seasonal mod to cover 2 elements at once. Concussive Dampener helps mitigate AoE damage.
- Legs: Machine Gun Holster to automatically reload Xenophage during 3rd encounter.
- Cloak: Thunderous Retort to increase Super damage for the last encounter by taking advantage of the Amplified status.
If you are wondering why I didn't use any combat style mods, the answer is that I stopped playing the game for a while and I don't the important ones to get builds started with them, so I'm praying to Ada-1 each day to sell elemental ordnance and the like. I also slapped Nightmare Banisher and Dreambane Mod, but I don't know if they actually help at all against the enemies in this dungeon.
