This video looks at the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis. After the Soviets had placed nuclear missiles in Cuba with the help of Fidel Castro, the US started a quarantine. This brought tensions between Khrushchev and Kennedy where the world looked very close to disaster. This video also briefly looks at the aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis where the Moscow Test Ban Treaty was implemented and the hotline was introduced.
