I went on a search to find the cheapest puffer jacket I could in the Asan Bazaar. Only a 10 minute walk from the popular tourist shopping area of Thamel. Asan is an incredible place to find good deals on everything from home goods to trekking gear. The market is broken into sections, one selling gold, one selling shoes, one selling spices etc... and extends over many street blocks. This is one of the busiest and engaging markets I have seen anywhere in Asia! For dinner we go to an incredible traditional Newari restaurant and get some authentic food!
