Steps of how to scan for an implant crown using an Intraoral Scanner and a scan body. A Medit i700 Intra-oral Scanner was used here but the steps should he very similar in all scanners :
1- take a pre scan of the jaw you're working on
2- take the opposing and the bite
3- the pre scan is duplicated for jaw you're working on
4- cut the implant out of the scan
5- screw in the scan body and scan it.
