In children sinusitis is not very common because all sinuses do not become mature and developed in a child. Few of the sinuses are present during birth. But one or two of the sinuses, they get developed after the age of 6 years. So usually children do not compliant too much about sinus headaches or sinus fullness of face what we see more in adults. But there have been complications in a child as I told you that if there is sinus infection and which is untreated for a long time, it can travel to the nearby structures like the eyes and brain and cause lot of serious complications. So usually sinus symptom in a child do not last long with proper antiallergic decongestants and with antibiotics it usually subsides by one week to 10 days.
