Are you looking for a fast and easy knot to connect your braid to a fluorocarbon leader? While the FG knot ([ Ссылка ]) reigns supreme (durable and smooth through guides), it's more challenging to learn and time-consuming to tie in the boat.
Jacob Wheeler ([ Ссылка ]) shares one of his preferred on-the-go knots for joining fishing lines. He calls it the Yucatan or no-name knot, although both are a bit of a misnomer (a variation of the Yucatan). Whatever it's called, it's easy and fast to tie when you don't want to waste time on the water. Most importantly, it's never failed him with a fish on the line.
