The sports organisation BASKETBALL SHOOTING CENTER (BSC) successfully organised two MAVS CELJE academies this summer, with the full support of DALLAS MAVERICKS.
The aim of the academy is to present the highest quality training sessions, modelled on the Mavericks' NBA team, to as wide a younger population as possible. The programme is very attractive and allows the participants to gain new skills based on the nba coaching system.
The project of educating young basketball players on a highest level has to start somewhere. And with that in mind, beside our regular daily BSC practises, we organised MAVS CELJE basketball academy on MAVS court opened last year '22 in the city of Celje, Slovenia. BSC organisation is trying to offer good training system for young and pro basketball players.
The start date of the first academy coincided with the day of Luka's number 77 on the Mavs jersey, so we first met on Friday 7.7.23.
