The general election in United Kingdome might not bring anything good for British Prime Minister Theresa May and her Conservative party but for India.
Surprised? Yes, it is true, the new British Parliament will have a record number of Indian-origin MPs.
As many as 12 Indian origin politicians are set to enter in the House of Commons. Seven Indian-origin MPs are from the Labour party and another five belong to Conservatives.
Also, first female Sikh and first turbaned lawmaker booked their seats in the Parliament.
Here, is the list of politicians who surprised veterans:
Preet Kaur Gill, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, Priti Patel, Alok Sharma , Shailesh Vara, Rishi Sunak, Suella Fernandes, Keith Vaz , Valerie Vaz ,Lisa Nandy, Seema Malhotra and Virendra Sharma.
Apparently, increased number of Indian MPs in House of Commons is a good sign for the health of ties between United Kingdome and India.
