It only took 1.5yrs and I have little time to play, but my guitar build is done! Huge thanks to Bearz for fixing the finish and Guitar Witch for the assembly. I basically wanted a "Frankenstein" of various Ibanez guitars (some of which I've owned) for my own thing; it's definitely not an attempt to look like one model or another. It's for me.
Specifications:
Body: Southern swamp ash, cut/sanded from JS-style shape with RBM Voyager cutout.
Color/finish: Keda Dye blue topped with satin finish.
Neck: Maple with Strat-like (narrower at nut, less flat radius than Wizard/JEM) dimensions.
Fretboard: Rosewood with JEM Tree-of-Life inlays, last four frets scalloped.
Tuners: GraphTech Ratio.
Pickups: Mojotone Tomahawk Neck, Quiet 58 (plan to swap for FS-1), DiMarzio Evo2 Bridge.
Bridge: Floyd Rose Original with 32mm Stone Tone block.
Knobs: Cannibalized from my Ibanez RG520.
Electronics: Gunstreet Green Treble-Bleed HSH 5-Way.
Strap (not pictured but since installed): DiMarzio Cliplock.
