Former South African President Jacob Zuma cast his vote on Wednesday in an election seen as the country’s most important in 30 years and one that could put their young democracy in unknown territory. Zuma leads the uMkhonto weSizwe Party and the radical leftist Economic Freedom Fighters, which have both pledged to nationalize land and mines and would seek major concessions on policy and appointments. Many analysts expect the African National Congress to win more than 45% of the vote.
