Amelia Earhart is nationally recognized as one of the world's most remarkable pilots in History.
She was born July 24th, 1897 in Atchison, Kanas. 🐤
Growing up Amelia had it rough, her parents split twice.
Her father was a heavy-drinker and suffered from alcoholism.
During World War One, Amelia Earhart met a wounded vet, who was an amputee. 🤒
Shortly, after she dropped out of school to become a nurse until the Truce ended the War in 1918.
Notable things Amelia Earhart accomplished🏆:
May 20th-21st, 1932 Amelia was the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.
She formed the 99's which is an organization for women who are pilots across the globe.🌎
June 1st, 1937 Amelia left Oakland, California with navigator Fred Noonan to attempt to circumnavigate the globe.
July 2nd, 1937 Amelia lost connection with the United States Coast Guard.
Since then, no remains of the plane have yet to be found.
To this day, Amelia Earhart lived her life to the fullest.🛬
