Finally, after two months, I have finished this dang cover. This is by far my favorite song from Mario Kart Wii, possibly from all Mario video games in general, so when I started the project I thought it would be a piece of cake (oh boy was I wrong). Despite having the best sax player ever (Colin) being featured (who was able to have his multiple takes of each section recorded in half of the time it took me to record one of the background trombone parts), I managed to stretch every part of the recording and editing process out long enough to make my ears go numb to the sequence of notes that is the melody. Well anyways hope you enjoy!
Also, extra points to whoever can find the reference I stuck in the solo section!
