Since 7 September, the state Kerala has been recording over 3,000 cases every single day and it's gone up to over 7,000 vases being reported on September 27. On September 25th, Kerala had more active cases than neighboring Tamil Nadu to become the state with the 5th highest number of active cases in India. So, in one week nearly 35,000 cases have been reported in the state.

In the last few months, we all hailed Kerala's fight against Coronavirus and the Kerala model was hailed by several experts and even emulated in other states.
