The Saracen market bonus is one of the most unique in the game. It is not as straightforward how one might utilize the fact that Saracens pay only a 5% trading fee at their much cheaper markets. Yet when utilized appropriately, it can enable some powerful strategies. In this video, I demonstrate how one can use the market bonus in order to quickly get to crossbow production in early castle age. It is a strategy that can work on open maps such as Arabia; however, for closed maps it can be very powerful.
