After a crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is returning to its old formula in Maharashtra. The party has fielded four other candidates in the Legislative Council elections, including Pankaja, daughter of Gopinath Munde, a prominent OBC leader in the state. The Maa-Dha-Va (Mali-Dhangar, Vanjari) formula has emerged from this.
