The Arabian Sea, spread over approximately 38 lakh 62 thousand square kilometers,
is located between the Indian subcontinent and the Arabian region. It is bounded by
the Horn of Africa to the west, the Arabian Peninsula to the northwest, the Indian
Peninsula to the east, and the rest of the Indian Ocean to the south. The countries
sharing borders with its coast are Somalia, Yemen, Oman, Pakistan, India and
Maldives.
