ℹ️ Background information:
'The Original Cut‘ of 'KICKBOXER' has never been released before. It would be desirable if one of the current distributors would finally release the movie in an uncut/unrated 4K Ultra HD version. This year (2024) the movie 'KICKBOXER' celebrates its 35th anniversary.
There are several versions of the movie worldwide. On the one hand the well-known domestic US R-rated version and on the other hand the foreign version, which was released in Germany and Australia, for example. The original scenes are in full screen (4:3) whereas the R-Rated scenes are in widescreen (16:9).
For this reason, this YouTube project was started to present this martial arts masterpiece in 'The Original Cut' and as the movie was filmed on location.

ℹ️ Synopsis / Plot / Summary:
Eric Sloane (Dennis Alexio) is an American kickboxing pro, helped by his brother, Kurt Sloane (Jean-Claude Van Damme), in his quest for glory. But when the two go to Thailand to take on legendary Tong Po (Michel Qissi), the opponent viciously beats Eric Sloane and leaves him paralyzed. Swearing vengeance, Kurt Sloane tracks down master Xian Chow (Dennis Chan) and begins learning the sport himself while also getting caught up in criminal intrigue involving thuggish crime boss Freddy Li (Ka Ting Lee).
