An ultra-realistic landing at London Heathrow (Premium Deluxe) in the Airbus A320neo, British Airways colours. With World Update 3 introducing new scenery for the UK and Ireland including high-resolution photogrammetry scenery for the British Capital, we take flight in British Airways colours approaching over the capital landing on Runway 27L. Add a little camera shake, real-life audio and a window frame and you have a very convincing video - If only the scenery didn't pop every few moments and cars didn't move at four times their normal speed!
Recorded with FlightControlReplay and slowed down x4, you can use the magic of video editing to improve the output video rate, in this case up to the YouTube maximum of 60fps. It also enabled me to boost up the simulator graphics much higher than what I normally play with thanks to the much slower requirement to load scenery in. Recorded in 1080p, upscaled to 1440p also with the magic of video editing, sharpening and high-quality rendering. The first cut of this video was rendered in .avi which dropped a whopping 268GB FILE!!! before being thrown back through VSDC Video Editor and compressed down to 28.2GB as an mp4 with a data rate of 556.8mbps. Several hours of editing, system crashing and rendering later, we have a 7-minute clip over the top of London City and an approach through Hounslow.
