An acoustic IR is a wav file that you can load in a pedal like the TC impulse loader or Line 6 HX stomp and that can turn your "quacky" piezo pickup tone into a "more acoustic mic-like" tone.
In order to generate such a file, all you need is:
* Internet
* A gmail account
* A stereo recording of your acoustic guitar with
On the right: a microphone recording
On the left: a pickup recording
Both tracks must have been recorded SIMULTANEOUSLY.
(See the website acousticir.free.fr to see how to make that recording if you have no idea)
The web app will listen to both the pickup and the microphone recording and compute the wav file that can turn one tone in the other.
