In 2020, the Turn 2 Drivers Club was created exclusively for racing enthusiasts wanting to find enjoyment on track while sharpening their competitive skills, fully embodying their #ChallengerSpirit.
Though Turn 2 could have chosen any brand of car to drive for their race club, after a few test drives, it didn’t take long for them to go with Mazda MX-5 as their race car of choice, due to its affordability, reliability, and high-level competitiveness out on track.
Turn 2 has quickly evolved over time, expanding their fleet of #MX5Cup cars and growing into a top-level support system for racers like their driver coach, Aaron Jeansonne, in the Mazda MX-5 Cup series. Now, the club also sponsors Jeansonne in his Mazda MX-5 Cup series journey, and even has a new Turn 2 member competing in the series at the Laguna Seca race weekend in 2024. The club continues to race at many west coast events and is looking to start its own race series soon.
