A ‘Calypso Afro’ tune which was one of many Jordan releases to reach the number-one spot on Billboard’s rhythm ‘n blues charts during the 1940s decade. Though recorded in the spring of ’47, it was held for release until mid-1948 during the AFM musicians’ strike.
