Opening Ceremony of DRUZHBA V Pakistan & Russia Joint Exercise held at Tarbela Today.
“Russian Federation Special Forces’ contingent arrived in Pakistan for two weeks long joint exercise Druzhba 5. The exercise is aimed at sharing both armies’ experiences in counterterrorism domain,” the ISPR said in a statement.
Druzhba, signifying “companionship” in Russia, is an annual exercise that is held among Pakistan and Russian Armies since 2016 with an intention to share battle strategies and activities and improve co-activity between the two nations.
