Today we're taking a look at how to correctly create a Wah-Wah effect in your DAW. Why build a Wah for your DAW? Well, I think it's just good practice to research and recreate effects, you never know how that experience might benefit you creativity down the road.
For this tutorial we'll be building a Jim Dunlop Wah pedal in Ableton, although you can follow along with any DAW, as it simply requires a AutoFilter effect.
I also have two special guests in this video joining me for a funky wah jam session. The legendary John Medeski and Nate Smith are planning to stop by the studio to lay down a quick demo...last I heard they were just leaving the airport and should be here any minute!
